Underwater

I went to S.E.A. Aquarium yesterday. It is located in Sentosa Island Singapore. It brings new experience to enjoy underwater world (and more expensive) compare to its old sister, Underwater World.

These are some photos I captured. Mostly, I used high ISO to freeze fishes.

City at night

I was very busy in last three months. There is no time for hunting photos and writing something here.

In last few weeks, I tried to do night photography to explore my gear :)
I took around hundred photos but these are some good ones. I still need to learn and do some experiments.

These photos were taken at Marina Bay, Singapore. City at night

Comments and critiques are welcome.

I am playing with a snow globe

I was playing again with my snow globe. Two month ago, I have tried it and the result was not so good.

After I got some suggestion from Camryn Forrest Designs, I tried it to capture the floating “snow”.

I put it in the cold refrigerator freezer for a short time. This approach will slow down the movement of the “snow.”

For lighting, I  still used my desk lamp and added my in-camera flash that I had covered with tissue paper.

And this is the result :)

Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute

Put  oats, peanut butter and vanilla in a large bowl and pour chocolate mixture
Stir until all ingredients are incorporated

Line cookie sheet with wax paper or parchment paper
Drop onto the prepared cookie sheets and let it cool

And … these are cookies we got …

I am a gate of underground tunnel

This picture is about a gate of underground tunnels.  Safely tucked away in the nature reserve, these tunnels were used by the British Army during World War II. They were left hidden and forgotten since then until they were rediscovered in 2001. (Source : Labrador Park)

It is located at Labrador Park Singapore.

I am a simple creation

A few week ago, my son went to a fire station to learn about what fireman does in their daily duty. Then his teacher had an idea to make a fire truck from biscuits.

I am caterpillar

When I was playing with my family at a park nearby, I found a caterpillar was walking on beach sand.

Then I tried to take a close-up picture of it. Because I didn’t use macro lens, the picture is not so sharp :(

At least, I can practice to take a close-up picture with what I have now.
